Orion Neomatik 39 New Black

The NOMOS Orion Neomatik 39 New Black 346 is the larger 38.5mm version of the Orion Neomatik New Black, with a black galvanized dial, rhodium-plated hands, rhodium-plated applied markers, and the automatic DUW 3001 calibre. It follows the same reduced dial design as the 36.4mm version, but in the wider Orion neomatik 39 case format. The stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 8.7mm in height, and 47.5mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, plus a domed sapphire crystal case back. The Orion case is defined by its lenticular profile, tapered lugs, and softly rounded geometry. Water resistance is rated to 5 atm. The black galvanized dial uses rhodium-plated applied hour markers, fine printed minute and seconds markings, and a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The gold neomatik signature provides the only warm-coloured accent on the dial, while the rest of the display is limited to central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds. Power comes from the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house calibre measuring 12 ¾ lignes in diameter and 3.2mm in height. It has 37 jewels, a power reserve of up to 43 hours, and uses the NOMOS swing system. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is supplied on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 19mm lug width.
