Orion 33 Midnight Blue / Closed Case Back

The NOMOS Orion 33 Midnight Blue 330 is a compact hand-wound Orion with a 32.8mm stainless steel case, a midnight blue dial, gold-coloured hands, and gold-coloured hour markers. It uses the smaller Orion case format and a closed stainless steel case back. The case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 7.6mm in height, and 42.3mm from lug to lug. It has a domed sapphire crystal front and follows the Orion’s rounded, lenticular case profile with tapered lugs. Water resistance is rated to 3 atm. The midnight blue dial is free of numerals and uses fine gold-coloured hour markers. The gold-coloured hands provide contrast against the dark dial surface, while the small seconds display at 6 o’clock keeps the standard hand-wound Orion layout. The display consists of central hours and minutes with subsidiary seconds. Power comes from the NOMOS Alpha, a manually wound in-house calibre measuring 10 ½ lignes in diameter and 2.6mm in height. It has 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The watch is supplied on a beige velour leather strap with a 17mm lug width.
