Autobahn Neomatik 41 Date Silver

The NOMOS Autobahn neomatik 41 date 1301 was introduced in 2018 alongside the DUW 6101, NOMOS’ first neomatik movement with a date mechanism. This reference is the white silver-plated dial version of the Autobahn collection, a 41mm automatic model whose dial architecture takes cues from automotive instruments without following a conventional chronograph or racing-watch layout. Its defining elements include the curved luminous arc around the hour numerals, the elongated three-day date window, and the slim automatic DUW 6101 visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The stainless steel case measures 41.0mm in diameter, 10.5mm in height, and 49.6mm from lug to lug. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal on the front and a domed sapphire crystal display back. Water resistance is rated at 10 atm, making the watch suitable for swimming. The case shape gives Autobahn a broader, more sculptural profile than many other NOMOS models, while the relatively moderate height reflects the thin construction of the automatic date movement inside. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, placing reference 1301 closest to the more restrained end of the Autobahn series. Its layout is built around a broad, curved minute and hour sector, with a ring of Super-LumiNova following the hour typography. The hour hand is rhodium-plated and fitted with a white Super-LumiNova inlay that glows blue in low light. The date display sits at 6 o’clock and uses an elongated aperture that spans three numerals, making the central date easy to read while showing the adjacent dates on either side. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement with the NOMOS swing system and a date ring placed around the movement. It measures 3.6mm in height, has a diameter of 35.2mm, and offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The watch is fitted to a blue-black woven waterproof textile strap with a 20mm lug width and a square stainless steel NOMOS winged clasp.
