Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date Atlantic / Closed Case Back

The NOMOS Ahoi neomatik 38 date Atlantic 518 is a date-equipped version of the Ahoi in Atlantic blue, combining the collection’s sport-oriented case construction with a larger date display and automatic movement. Its stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 9.8mm in height, and 48.7mm lug to lug. The construction is secured with six screws and includes a screw-down crown with crown guard. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides is paired here with a solid steel case back. Water resistance is rated to 20 atm. The dial is Atlantic blue and carries a large date positioned toward the outer edge, with the date display matched to the dial color. The hour indexes are filled with sand-colored Super-LumiNova and outlined in green, while the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are fitted with white luminous inlays. A red seconds hand adds contrast. The red warning ring on the crown indicates when the crown is not fully screwed down. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an in-house automatic movement with 42 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. Its date ring is arranged around the movement, allowing a large date display while keeping the caliber relatively thin. This reference is fitted on a blue-black woven textile strap with a 20mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
