The Longines Master Collection L2.449.5.87.7, introduced in 2026, is part of a revised generation of the Master Collection. While retaining the design codes that have defined the line since its introduction, these updated models feature refined case proportions and updated dial executions, giving the collection a sharper and more contemporary appearance. The round case is crafted from stainless steel and partially capped in yellow gold, and fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres. The dial is executed in white mother-of-pearl and set with diamond hour markers. In total, 11 Top Wesselton VS-SI diamonds are used, with a combined weight of 0.047 carats. Gilt hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds, while a date display is positioned at 3 o’clock. Powering the watch is the Longines calibre L592, a self-winding mechanical movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement incorporates a monocrystalline silicon balance spring and provides a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. The Master Collection L2.449.5.87.7 is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet partially capped in yellow gold, secured by a triple safety folding clasp with push-piece opening mechanism and fine adjustment system.
