The Longines Heritage 1942 Black L2.768.4.53.2 has a 40 mm stainless steel case, and is water resistant to 30 metres.

Launched in in 2012 at Longines' 180th anniversary, the Longines Heritage 1942 is inspired by a 1942 13ZN-powered chronograph. It features a round case with a stepped bezel, and round push buttons controlling the caliber L688 chronograph functions. The lacquered dial -black for this version- features 9 Arab numerals to contrast with the dial and a railway-track minute ring as well as a tachymeter scale around its rim.
