Löbner Steelracer Black / Rubber L62235

Löbner Steelracer Black / Rubber Ref. L62235

The Löbner Steelracer Black / Rubber L62235 has a 42.5 mm stainless steel case, measures 14.3 mm thick, and is water resistant to 100 metres.

The LÖBNER Steelracer Black L62235 debuted in 2023 as part of LÖBNER’s chronograph collection inspired by motorsport instrumentation of the 1920s and ’30s. Its 41 mm stainless steel case features an integrated crown guard and pushers, with the crown positioned beneath LÖBNER’s patented Sledge mechanism—designed to prevent accidental operation and to mechanically lock the chronograph pusher during crown use. Time is displayed through a decentralized module developed in-house by LÖBNER, separating the chronograph and time-telling functions. A central seconds hand paired with a tachymeter-engraved bezel allows for precise speed calculations between 60 and 600 km/h. Powering the Steelracer is the Swiss-made automatic caliber L6223, a column-wheel chronograph with a LÖBNER-developed module for decentralized time display. The movement features a custom rotor, 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Shock resistance conforms to ISO 1413 standards. The dial is finished in galvanic black, with clearly separated chronograph and timekeeping zones. A double anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the display.
