In 2008 IWC introduced its Vintage Collection, in celebration of the company's 140 year anniversary. Part of this collection was the Vintage Ingenieur 1955, with a design inspired by the original 1955 Ingenieur 666. Reference IW3233-09 is a limited edition of 150 pieces created for the Italian market. It features a stainless steel case and ivory dial.
