Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Titanium / Grey

The IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 IW3449-04 debuted in 2026 as the first titanium model to combine the Gérald Genta-derived Ingenieur design with IWC’s perpetual calendar developed by Kurt Klaus. It pairs a grade 5 titanium case and integrated bracelet with a matte grey dial and the IWC-manufactured calibre 82600. Its grade 5 titanium case measures 41.6 mm in diameter and 13.2 mm in thickness. The case retains the defining Ingenieur elements, including the round bezel secured by five functional screws and the integrated bracelet attached via its middle links. The finishing combines sandblasted surfaces with lightly polished edges, while the sides of the case and bracelet are satin-finished. The watch is fitted with a screw-in crown, a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides, and a transparent sapphire case back. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar. The dial is matte grey and features the characteristic Ingenieur “Grid” structure formed by small lines and squares. The calendar subdials are finished with circular satin brushing and azurage on their outer edges. At 3 o’clock is the date display, at 6 o’clock the month and moon phase, and at 9 o’clock the day of the week together with a leap-year indicator. The applied markers and black hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. Inside is the IWC-manufactured calibre 82600, an automatic movement with Pellaton winding, perpetual calendar with date, day, month, leap year, and perpetual moon phase, and a power reserve of 60 hours. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and uses 46 jewels. Components subject to high stress in the winding system are made from zirconium oxide ceramic, and the moon phase is geared to deviate by one day only after 577.5 years. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement is finished with Geneva stripes, circular graining, and blued screws.
