The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence was introduced at BaselWorld 2016. Its case measures 40mm across at a height of 10mm. The Senator Excellence is powered by the completely new 3-handed, self-winding caliber 36, which provides this watch with a power reserve of 100 hours. The pictured Senator Excellence has a varnished black dial with Arabic numerals and 'Alpha'hands made of white gold inlaid with Super-LumiNova, giving it a pilot's watch-like feel. Reference 1-36-01-03-02-01 has an alligator strap and a pin buckle. Reference 1-36-01-03-02-30 has an alligator strap and a folding clasp. Reference 1-36-01-03-02-50 has an alligator strap and a short folding clasp.
