The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase 1-36-24-02-02-71 debuted in 2024 as a stainless steel dress watch with a moon phase complication and galvanic grey dial. The 40mm case combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces and is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a double folding clasp. Its dial is finished in galvanic grey with a finely grained texture, featuring blue-coated applied Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The Panorama Date display at 4 o’clock shows white numerals on a matte blue background, while the moon phase aperture at 10 o’clock showcases an in-house manufactured disc made of galvanised German silver with two diamond-turned moons. Inside ticks the manufacture calibre 36-24, an automatic movement with silicon balance spring, bayonet mounting, and a 100-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, it features Glashütte striping, blued screws, and traditional finishing. Like all Senator Excellence models, this watch is certified with Glashütte Original’s 24-day in-house test and bears the engraved “Q” mark on the case back.
