Early 2016 Glashütte Original introduced its caliber 36, a movement designed for stability and precision, while adhering to the codes of the brand. In late 2016 the 'base' three-hander was accompanied by two more complicated siblings: a panorama-date, and a moonphase + panorama-date, while the perpetual calendar was added to the line-up in 2017. At BaselWorld 2018, Glashütte Original introduced a limited edition of the perpetual calendar. This watch features a white gold case and an open-worked black dial, revealing parts of the self-winding caliber 36-02 movement from the front in addition to the back. Ref. 1-36-02-03-04-01 is fitted with an alligator strap and pin buckle. Ref. 1-36-02-03-04-30 is fitted with an alligator strap and folding clasp. Ref. 1-36-02-03-04-50 is fitted with an alligator strap and shorter folding clasp.
