The Glashütte Original SeaQ 1-39-11-10-70-33 debuted in 2024 as an update to the existing bi-colour SeaQ, now featuring a sapphire crystal case back. It retains the familiar 39.50 mm case crafted from stainless steel with a solid yellow gold bezel, here paired with a black rubber strap and folding clasp. This version builds upon the original SeaQ 1-39-11-10-70-33 by offering a view of the in-house Calibre 39-11 through the newly added transparent case back—a notable first for this specific configuration. The galvanic blue dial features a sunray finish and is accented by applied gold-plated numerals and indexes, along with gold-tone hands generously filled with Super-LumiNova. A unidirectional rotating bezel in solid yellow gold with a ceramic insert and white lacquer-filled markings frames the display. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock. The Calibre 39-11 automatic movement provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours and is visible through the exhibition case back. Finishing includes Glashütte striping, bevelled edges, and a skeletonized rotor with a 21-carat gold oscillating weight. As with all SeaQ models, this reference is compliant with both DIN 8306 and ISO 6425 diver’s watch standards. It is water-resistant to 20 bar and undergoes Glashütte Original’s extensive internal testing protocol. Alternative strap options include a synthetic fabric strap and a version with a closed steel case back.
