The Glashütte Original SeaQ 1-39-11-09-62-70 debuted in 2024 as a luxurious take on the brand’s 39.50 mm diver’s watch, featuring a stainless steel case with a diamond-set bezel and a matching stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. This model is distinguished by its unidirectional rotating bezel, which is set with 47 brilliant-cut diamonds and a single blue sapphire replacing the traditional triangle marker at 12 o’clock. The total carat weight is approximately 1.67 ct. The bezel features a precise half-minute detent and rotates counter-clockwise for safe diving use. The galvanic blue sunray dial is paired with applied Arabic numerals and indexes, all filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced low-light visibility. Luminous hands and a central seconds hand complete the display. A date window is located at 3 o’clock. Inside ticks the automatic Calibre 39-11, manufactured in-house and offering a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. This version is fitted with a sapphire crystal case back, allowing a view of the decorated movement, including the skeletonized rotor with 21-carat gold oscillating weight, Glashütte striping, and beveled edges. The SeaQ is compliant with both DIN 8306 and ISO 6425 standards for dive watches, and each model is subjected to a full suite of in-house tests for water resistance, airtightness, and functional reliability. Alternative strap options include a blue synthetic fabric strap. A solid stainless steel case back is optionally available.
