DS-2 Chronograph Automatic Stainless Steel / Blue

The Certina DS-2 Chronograph Automatic C024.462.18.041.00 debuted in 2023 as a modern interpretation of the 1970s DS-2 Chronolympic. It features a 43.3mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces, screw-down pushers, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire case back. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters. The matte dark blue dial has a bicompax layout with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a date display at 6 o’clock. A tachymeter scale frames the dial, while yellow accents on the chronograph seconds hand and index tips lend a subtle retro-sporting touch. Applied markers and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for low-light readability. Power comes from the Swiss-made automatic caliber A05.231, based on the Valjoux architecture, offering a 68-hour power reserve and fitted with a silicon balance spring for enhanced resistance to magnetic fields. This model is delivered on a blue textile strap with yellow stitching and quick-release spring bars.
