Clé de Cartier 41 Skeleton Automatic Palladium / Diamond
Ref. HPI01057
The Clé de Cartier was introduced at SIHH 2015. The case, available in a number of sizes, has a soft profile somewhere in between 'round' and 'cushion'. While at first glance the look is not unlike watches from the late sixties and early seventies, both details and finish are distinctively modern and Cartier. It's name is a reference to the clever locking system of the crown - the 'key'. The Clé Skeleton was introduced in late December of 2015 in anticipation of the 2016 SIHH. It is powered by the self-winding caliber 9621, skeletonized with bridges made to form Roman numerals. Reference HPI01057 has a case in palladium set with 49 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 4.11 carats. The 'clé' is set with an additional 8 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.14 carats and an arc-cut sapphire, while the folding clasp features 43 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.43 carats.
