Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar Platinum / Blue

Ref. LB19211A1C1P1

The Breitling Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar LB19211A1C1P1, introduced in 2024, represents one of the most technically advanced executions of the Navitimer to date. It combines the collection’s signature aviation functionality—most notably the circular slide rule—with a perpetual calendar chronograph, a complication that automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years. The watch is housed in a 43 mm platinum case measuring 15.14 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 49.07 mm. The case features a bidirectional bezel with integrated slide rule, a defining characteristic of the Navitimer since its introduction in 1952 as a pilot’s calculation instrument. A cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial, while the sapphire case back reveals the movement. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres. The dial is executed in a marine blue tone and incorporates a complex multi-register layout required for the perpetual calendar and chronograph functions. Subdials are arranged to display calendar indications alongside chronograph counters, while a moonphase display is positioned at 12 o’clock. Applied indexes and hands are treated with luminous material to ensure legibility. Powering the watch is the Breitling manufacture calibre B19, an automatic perpetual calendar chronograph movement. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, consists of 374 components, and delivers a power reserve of approximately 96 hours. The movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch for the chronograph mechanism and is certified as a chronometer. Calendar indications can be adjusted via the crown and correctors integrated into the case. The Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar LB19211A1C1P1 is produced as a limited edition of 75 pieces. It reflects an evolution of the Navitimer concept from a functional pilot’s instrument into a platform for high complications, while retaining its defining slide rule architecture.
