The Breitling Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42 UB0158101B1S1 is the two-tone rubber-strap version in the 2026 Chronomat B01 42 range. It combines a stainless steel case with 18k red-gold exterior elements, including the crown and the mixed-metal bezel, while the anthracite dial is paired with black chronograph counters. The 42mm case measures 13.77mm thick, reflecting the slimmer profile introduced with the 2026 Chronomat redesign. The case is water resistant to 200 meters and fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Its unidirectional ratcheted bezel combines stainless steel and 18k red gold, with raised rider tabs, numerals, and minute indexes. For this generation of the Chronomat B01 42, Breitling revised the chronograph bezel into a single-piece construction integrating the bezel ring, insert, rider tabs, and screws. The crown is screw-locked and fitted with two gaskets. The anthracite dial gives this reference its own position within the B01 42 lineup, separate from the white, blue, green, brown, and ice-blue versions. It uses black counters for the chronograph indications, with applied hour markers, central hands, and Super-LumiNova on the hands and indexes. The display includes central hours and minutes, small seconds, chronograph seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters, and a date aperture. Inside the watch is Caliber B01, a COSC-certified self-winding manufacture chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and uses 47 jewels. This reference is fitted to a straight black rubber strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.
