The Breitling Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42 RB0158101Q1R1 is the 18k red-gold bracelet version within the 2026 Chronomat B01 42 range. It combines a 42mm red-gold case, a matching red-gold Rouleaux bracelet, and a brown dial with black chronograph counters. The case measures 13.77mm thick, reduced from the earlier 15.1mm profile, and follows the revised 2026 Chronomat architecture with a more integrated case and bracelet construction. The 18k red-gold case is water resistant to 200 meters and uses a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Its unidirectional ratcheted bezel is also made in red gold and features raised rider tabs, engraved numerals, and minute indexes. For the 2026 Chronomat B01 42, Breitling revised the chronograph bezel from a multi-component assembly into a single-piece construction that integrates the bezel ring, insert, rider tabs, and screws. The case also has a screw-locked crown with two gaskets and a reduced crown guard compared with the previous generation. The brown dial is paired with black subdials for the chronograph indications. Applied hour markers and central hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, while the display includes central hours and minutes, small seconds, central chronograph seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters, and a date aperture. The removal of the previous 1/100 scale from the rehaut gives the dial a simpler outer track. Inside the watch is Caliber B01, a COSC-certified self-winding manufacture chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and uses 47 jewels. This reference is fitted to an 18k red-gold Rouleaux bracelet with a concealed butterfly clasp and Breitling’s patented micro-adjustment system.
