Universal Geneve caliber UG-110 HMSD

Ref. UG-110 HMSD

The Universal Geneve caliber UG-110 is a self-winding mechanical movement developed as part of the modern revival of Universal Genève. The movement continues the manufacture’s historic tradition of micro-rotor automatic calibers, a construction for which the brand became known in the mid-20th century. The UG-110 features a ¾ micro-rotor automatic winding system mounted on ball bearings, contributing to a relatively slim movement architecture while maintaining efficient winding performance. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The caliber exists in several display variations, including versions showing hours, minutes and seconds, as well as variants that add a date indication.
