The stainless steel cases are prefabricated using precision machinery at a traditional German business and primarily completed by hand. The Zeitwinkel 312° only features hour and minute hands, to give it a more "reserved ease". The dial features latticework of Zeitwinkel logos. It is slightly bigger than the 081°, with the Zeitwinkel 312° featuring a 42,5mm case. The Zeitwinkel 312° comes with two different color dials; black and silver. This model has a black dial and is fitted on a black alligator leather strap.
