The TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde WBN2344.FC8335 was introduced in 2024. It is a 36 mm Carrera in polished 18-karat white gold, distinguished by its use of white and yellow lab-grown diamonds produced with TAG Heuer’s Plasma technology. The watch incorporates approximately 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds in total, including around 1.4 carats of yellow diamonds. The polished white-gold case measures 36 mm in diameter and is water-resistant to 50 meters. Its most unusual external feature is the crown, which is cut from a single 1.3-carat yellow lab-grown diamond. The watch is fitted with a fixed bezel and a sapphire crystal case back. The dial is formed from approximately 2.9 carats of polycrystalline lab-grown diamond. TAG Heuer produces this material using a Chemical Vapor Deposition process referred to as Plasma technology, in which multiple diamond crystals are grown together to form a single polycrystalline structure. The same process allows controlled changes to the diamond structure during growth, making it possible to create colored lab-grown diamonds with consistent coloration throughout the material. Twelve white-gold hour markers are set with white baguette-cut lab-grown diamonds with a combined weight of approximately 0.5 carats. Time is indicated by skeletonized hour and minute hands, with central seconds. A yellow lab-grown diamond cut in the shape of the TAG Heuer shield is positioned at 12 o’clock below the Carrera signature. The WBN2344.FC8335 is powered by TAG Heuer Calibre 7 Automatic. The movement provides hours, minutes, central seconds and a date indication, with a stated power reserve of 42 hours. It is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted with a white alligator leather strap and an 18-karat white-gold pin buckle.
