Luminor 1950 Marina 47 3 Days Stainless Steel / Tropical

Ref. PAM01735

The Panerai Luminor PAM01735 was introduced in 2026 as a 47mm steel Luminor based on the Ref. 6152/1 architecture of the 1960s. This reference uses the larger historic case format, a domed crystal, crown-protecting bridge, ivory matte sandwich dial with brown gradient, and the hand-wound P.3000 calibre. The dial treatment refers to the “tropical” appearance found on some vintage Panerai watches, where originally dark dials aged toward warmer tones over time. The 47mm steel case follows the broad cushion-shaped profile associated with early Luminor models, with a flat crown bridge and sapphire crystal case back. Panerai notes a slightly slimmer profile compared with the historic construction, while retaining the large case proportions of the original format. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar, approximately 100 meters. The ivory matte sandwich dial has a brown gradient that gives the reference its tropical-dial appearance. Luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers are set into the two-layer construction, with minimal “Luminor Panerai” text at 12 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. The layout stays close to the 1960s Luminor format, with the aged-tone dial giving the watch its main visual distinction. Inside is the Panerai P.3000, a hand-wound movement with hours and minutes. It measures 16½ lignes and 5.3mm thick, with 21 jewels, 160 components, a Glucydur balance, Incabloc anti-shock protection, and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. Two barrels provide a three-day power reserve, and the movement is visible through the sapphire case back.
