Club Sport Neomatik 39 Indian Summer - Smoke / Open Case Back

The NOMOS Club Sport neomatik 39 smoke 764 was introduced in 2023 as the sapphire-back version of the 39.5mm smoke model in the Club Sport neomatik collection. This reference combines the stainless steel case and integrated Club Sport bracelet with a galvanized light gray dial, sunburst polishing, and the slim automatic DUW 3001. The display back sets it apart from the closed-back version, while the case retains the same 20 atm water-resistance rating. The case measures 39.5mm in diameter, 8.4mm in height, and 49.5mm from lug to lug. It is made from stainless steel with a screwed construction, a rounded bezel, and sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on the inner side. Despite the sapphire crystal case back, the watch remains suitable for swimming and diving. Its relatively slim profile is notable within the Club Sport range, particularly in combination with the automatic movement and robust water-resistance specification. The dial is galvanized in light gray and finished with sunburst polishing. NOMOS refers to this tone as smoke, a description that fits the muted gray surface without changing the underlying technical specification. The dial uses large Club Sport Arabic numerals, baton indexes, and a recessed small seconds display at 6 o’clock with a grooved surface. White Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour numerals and indexes, while the rhodium-plated hands carry matching luminous inlays. In low light, these elements glow blue. The NOMOS DUW 3001 is an in-house automatic movement with bidirectional winding and the NOMOS swing system. It measures 3.2mm in height and offers a power reserve of up to 43 hours. In this reference, the movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted to the Club Sport bracelet with quick-change spring bars and a 20mm lug width. The bracelet has satin-finished outer surfaces, polished inner surfaces, and a safety folding clasp.
