Grande Seconde 39 Meteorite Diamond / Red Gold

The Grande Seconde is one of Jaquet Droz' signature models. The subdials of the off-center hours & minutes and small seconds overlap to form a poetic figure 8, a configuration based on historical pocket watches from the Jaquet Droz archives. The unusual mix of Roman and Arabic numerals is inspired by these pocket watches as well. The Grande Seconde J014013223 has a diamond-set case and a meteorite dial with mother-of-pearl subdials. The ring surrounding the subdials is set with 88 diamonds.
