Grande Seconde 43 Decentree Onyx / Stainless Steel

The Grande Seconde is one of Jaquet Droz' signature models. The subdials of the off-center hours & minutes and small seconds overlap to form a poetic figure 8, a configuration based on historical pocket watches from the Jaquet Droz archives. The unusual mix of Roman and Arabic numerals is inspired by these pocket watches as well. For the 'Decentree' models, the movement is gently twisted for an even more de-centralized look.
