DS-2 Chronograph Automatic Yellow Gold / Green

The Certina DS-2 Chronograph Automatic C024.462.36.091.00 debuted in 2023 as part of the retro-inspired DS-2 collection, echoing the original DS-2 Chronolympic from the 1970s. This version features a 43.3mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with yellow gold PVD coating. It includes a domed sapphire crystal, screw-down pushers, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire case back. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters. The matte green dial features a bicompax chronograph layout with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a date display at 6 o’clock. A tachymeter scale encircles the dial, and the applied markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova. Gold-tone accents throughout the dial reflect the case finish. Power comes from the Swiss-made automatic caliber A05.231, based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture. It features a silicon balance spring for enhanced anti-magnetism and delivers a power reserve of up to 68 hours. This model is fitted with a brown leather strap with crocodile pattern and quick-release spring bars.
