The Universal Geneve Polerouter UGPO007 debuted in 2026 as part of the Polerouter Prêt-à-Porter collection of Universal Genève. The model belongs to the modern revival of the Polerouter line, originally introduced in 1954 and designed by Gérald Genta for Scandinavian Airlines’ pioneering polar flights. This version features a 37mm stainless steel case with the characteristic twisted lugs associated with the Polerouter. The black dial combines sunray satin finishing with circular brushing, creating a dual-finish appearance. The dial further features a crosshair layout, a sunray-finished inner bezel, and luminescent hands, reflecting the design codes of the historic Polerouter while adapting them for contemporary use. Powering the watch is the Universal Geneve caliber UG-110, a self-winding mechanical movement with a micro-rotor automatic winding system. The model is part of the Polerouter Prêt-à-Porter line, which reinterprets the historic design through contemporary proportions and modern manufacturing while preserving the visual identity of the original watch.
