Polerouter Hardstone Rose Gold / Lapis Lazuli

The Universal Geneve Polerouter Hardstone UGPO005 debuted in 2026 as part of the Polerouter collection of Universal Genève. The model belongs to the modern revival of the Polerouter line, originally introduced in 1954 and designed by Gérald Genta for Scandinavian Airlines’ pioneering polar flights. This version features a 39mm 18k rose gold case with the characteristic twisted lugs associated with the Polerouter. The dial is crafted from lapis lazuli, integrated with the crosshair layout typical of the Polerouter and framed by a sunray-finished inner bezel, highlighting the texture and deep blue color of the natural stone. Powering the watch is the Universal Geneve caliber UG-110, a self-winding movement with micro-rotor automatic winding. The Hardstone models reintroduce the use of stone dials within the Polerouter design, combining the collection’s established aesthetic codes with decorative materials.
