Compax Capsule Stainless Steel / Brushed Indigo

The Universal Geneve Compax Capsule UGCO005 debuted in 2026 as part of the Compax Capsule collection of Universal Genève. The model continues the Compax chronograph tradition, a line introduced in the 1930s and long associated with the brand’s sporting chronographs. This version features a stainless steel case paired with a brushed indigo dial finished with translucent lacquer to evoke the texture of woven linen. The dial is arranged in the traditional Compax chronograph layout with contrasting white subdials, and is framed by a tachymeter bezel with sapphire insert, while luminescent hands and indexes ensure legibility. Powering the watch is the Universal Geneve caliber UG-200, a self-winding chronograph movement with micro-rotor automatic winding. The model is fitted with a brushed indigo leather strap, treated to resemble denim while retaining the properties of leather, reflecting the textile-inspired theme of the Capsule editions.
