Compax Prêt-à-Porter Stainless Steel / Black / Bracelet

The Universal Geneve Compax UGCO002 debuted in 2026 as part of the Compax Prêt-à-Porter collection of Universal Genève. The model continues the Compax chronograph tradition, a line introduced in the 1930s and long associated with the brand’s sporting chronographs. This version features a stainless steel case paired with a black lacquered dial in a reverse panda configuration, where the chronograph counters contrast with the dark background. The dial is framed by an engraved ceramic tachymeter bezel, while luminescent hands and indexes enhance legibility. The overall design reflects the classic Compax chronograph layout, reinterpreted with contemporary proportions and finishing. Powering the watch is the Universal Geneve caliber UG-200, a self-winding chronograph movement with micro-rotor automatic winding. The model is fitted with a five-row stainless steel bracelet, inspired by historic bracelets produced by Gay Frères for Universal Genève chronographs.
