The Universal Geneve Compax UGCO001 debuted in 2026 as part of the Compax Prêt-à-Porter collection of Universal Genève. The model continues the Compax chronograph tradition, a line introduced in the 1930s and long associated with the brand’s sporting chronographs. This version features a stainless steel case paired with a white lacquered dial with contrasting chronograph counters in the classic panda configuration historically associated with the Compax. The dial is framed by an engraved ceramic tachymeter bezel, while luminescent hands and indexes ensure legibility. The design reflects the traditional Compax chronograph layout while adapting it to contemporary production. Powering the watch is the Universal Geneve caliber UG-200, a self-winding chronograph movement with micro-rotor automatic winding. The model is fitted with a dark brown alligator leather Bund strap, referencing the distinctive styling associated with Nina Rindt, whose Compax chronograph became an enduring reference among collectors.
