Universal Genève Tribute to Compax White Gold / Blue

The Universal Genève Tribute to Compax JU281121C1X1 debuted in 2025 as part of Universal Genève’s modern revival of its Compax line. The watch features a 36 mm case in 18 k white gold, 12.67 mm thick, fitted with a fixed aluminum tachymeter bezel and a sapphire crystal on both sides. The translucent blue grand feu enamel dial is paired with black enamel subdials and white varnished counter hands, complemented by rhodium-plated hour and minute hands and a red varnished central chronograph seconds hand. The manual-winding Caliber 281—restored from Universal Genève’s archives—beats at 18,000 vph with a 36-hour power reserve. It controls hours, minutes, small seconds, and a twelve-hour column-wheel chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour counters. Like all models in the series, it offers 50 meters of water resistance and measures 44.44 mm lug-to-lug with a 19 mm strap width. It is fitted with a brown calfskin bund strap by Satoru Hosoi, secured by an 18 k white-gold buckle.
