The Tissot PRC 100 Solar T151.422.16.051.00 debuted in 2025 as part of the PRC 100 Solar collection, a modern revival of the PRC 100 line first introduced in the mid-2000s. The collection combines the geometric design language of the original models with contemporary solar-powered technology. The watch features a 39 mm case in 316L stainless steel with a thickness of approximately 9.22 mm. A defining element of the design is the dodecagonal bezel, framing a black dial fitted with applied indexes and hands treated with Super-LumiNova for improved legibility in low-light conditions. The watch is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and offers water resistance to 100 meters. Powering the watch is a Swiss solar quartz movement, which converts both natural and artificial light into energy through solar cells positioned beneath the sapphire crystal. The generated energy is stored in a rechargeable accumulator, ensuring reliable operation even when the watch is not exposed to light for extended periods. The watch is fitted with a black grained cowhide leather strap in alligator style, secured by a pin buckle. The strap incorporates a quick-release system, allowing it to be easily exchanged for compatible straps.
