Carrera Astronomer Stainless Steel / Grey

Ref. WBX2112.FC6615

The TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer WBX2112.FC6615 debuted in 2025 as a limited edition of 500 pieces, created in tribute to TAG Heuer’s role in John Glenn’s 1962 Friendship 7 mission, when the brand became the first Swiss watch to orbit Earth. The watch is housed in a 39mm stainless steel case with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. The silver sunray brushed dial is accented by grey and silver flanges with black markings. The hands, indexes, and moon phase display are detailed in light blue, with Super-LumiNova applied for low-light visibility. The moon phase indication is positioned at 6 o’clock within a subsidiary dial. Powering the Astronomer is the automatic Calibre 7 with moon phase. It runs at 28,800 vph and delivers a power reserve of 50 hours, displaying hours, minutes, central seconds, date, and moon phase. The screw-down case back is engraved with a “space observatory” motif. Water resistance is specified at 100 meters. This reference is fitted with a grey calfskin strap, secured by a stainless steel folding clasp with double push-button release.
