The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph CBS2240.BG0001 is a custom bracelet version of the 18K 3N yellow gold Carrera Chronograph CBS2240.FC8319, which debuted in 2023 for the 60th anniversary of the Carrera collection. Created for Ryan Gosling, this execution replaces the original strap configuration with a dedicated 18K 3N yellow gold Milanese bracelet, reference BG0001-00. Its design refers to the Heuer Ref. 1158 CHN of 1971, including the cushion-shaped case and left-hand crown configuration. The 39 mm case is made of 18K 3N yellow gold and measures 13.9 mm thick. It is fitted with an 18K 3N yellow gold bezel and crown, a sapphire crystal, and a gold-colored dial with a brushed finish, baton hour markers, and two black chronograph counters. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters. The watch is powered by the automatic Caliber TH20-00, based on the Caliber Heuer 02 architecture. The movement measures 32 mm in diameter and 6.9 mm thick, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and has 33 jewels, 168 components, and an 80-hour power reserve. Its functions include chronograph timing and date display.
