Carrera Chronograph Dato Glass Box Thailand / White Mouse Racing Team

Ref. CBS221K.FC8368

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph CBS221K.FC8368 was introduced in 2026 as a Thailand Limited Edition of 90 pieces. The watch commemorates Prince Birabongse Bhanudej Bhanubandh of Siam, known as Prince Bira, a member of the Thai royal family and an international racing driver. Bira began Grand Prix motor racing in 1935 with White Mouse Racing, the team run by his cousin Prince Chula Chakrabongse, and won the Coupe de Prince Rainier at Monte Carlo in 1936. He later competed in the early years of the Formula One World Championship, racing between 1950 and 1954, and remained the only Thai Formula One driver until Alexander Albon entered the championship in 2019. The watch also refers to Bira’s role in establishing Siam’s national racing colors. His cars were associated with a pale blue base color, later combined with yellow details, a scheme that became linked to Thai motor racing. This limited edition uses those references through its light blue circular-brushed dial, inspired by Bira Blue, and its black and yellow perforated leather strap. The White Mouse Racing Team is referenced on the dial, while the sapphire crystal case back carries Prince Bira’s “TIME & TRUTH” motto. This watch has a 39 mm fine-brushed and polished stainless steel Glassbox case with a sapphire crystal case back. It is fitted with a stainless steel crown and is water-resistant to 100 meters. The blue dial has applied indexes, a curved flange, and the White Mouse Racing logo at 6:00. Time is indicated by central hour and minute hands, with a chronograph featuring a central seconds hand and a 30-minute counter, arranged in a 'Dato' layout with the date at 9:00 and the minute counter at 3:00, without a running seconds display. Inside is the TAG Heuer Caliber TH20-07, an in-house automatic chronograph movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 80 hours, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted with a black and yellow perforated leather strap with a fine-brushed and polished stainless steel folding clasp with push-buttons.
