The model belongs to the Carrera Extreme Sport line and combines a tourbillon chronograph movement with a design concept referencing Lucha Libre, a form of professional wrestling that originated in Mexico in the early 20th century and remains a central element of Mexican popular culture. Lucha Libre is characterised by its masked wrestlers, or luchadores, whose masks serve as symbols of identity, mythology, and personal narrative. Rooted in a blend of sport, theatre, and tradition, the discipline places strong emphasis on agility, spectacle, and clearly defined visual codes. Masks often reference animals, gods, or heroic archetypes and are treated as culturally significant objects rather than simple costumes. This symbolic use of colour, form, and graphic expression informs the visual language applied to this edition. The watch is housed in a 44 mm case manufactured from grade 2 titanium with a black DLC coating, paired with a forged carbon bezel. The construction follows the established Extreme Sport architecture and is rated to 100 metres of water resistance. Sapphire crystals are used on both the dial side and case back, the latter featuring edition-specific engravings. The skeletonised dial incorporates green and fuchsia accents and integrates a stylised Lucha Libre mask motif within the chronograph hour counter. The openworked layout accommodates chronograph indications, a tourbillon aperture, and a date display. Hands and markers are designed to remain legible against the technical dial structure. Powering the watch is the automatic Calibre TH20-09, an in-house chronograph movement equipped with a tourbillon regulator. The movement displays hours, minutes, running seconds, date, and chronograph functions, and represents the most complex execution within the Carrera Extreme Sport family. The Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Tourbillon “Lucha Libre” CBU5084.FT6272 is fitted with an integrated black rubber strap secured by a folding clasp in grade 2 titanium. Beyond its specific aesthetic references and limited production, the model shares its fundamental technical platform with other tourbillon-equipped Carrera Extreme Sport chronographs.
