Submariner Date 16610 LV Mark 2

The Submariner 16610 LV was introduced in 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. It features a distinct green bezel. During its life span various small changes in the dial and bezel were made, leading to collectors referring to the different models with a 'Mark 1' etc designation. Pictured is the Mark 2, distinguished from later versions by its broader 'Swiss Made' designation (spacing less wide than Mark 1) and, oval 'O' in 'Rolex', alignment of the 'R' in 'Oyster' right between the two feet of the 'Rolex' 'R' and the 'flat four' in 40 on the bezel.
