GMT-Master II White Gold / VTNR / Oyster

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126729VTNR-0001 was introduced in 2025 as a distinctive addition to the GMT-Master II collection, notable for its use of ceramic beyond the bezel. The watch is housed in a 40 mm Oyster case crafted from 18 ct white gold, constructed according to Rolex’s monobloc architecture with a screw-down case back and Triplock winding crown. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. This reference is fitted with a bidirectional rotatable 24-hour bezel featuring a two-colour Cerachrom insert in green and black ceramic, an exclusive colour combination reserved for this model. The bezel is paired with a green ceramic dial, marking the first use of a Cerachrom dial in a Rolex wristwatch. Produced by mounting a ceramic disc onto a brass base, the dial matches the green tone of the lower half of the bezel insert. Applied hour markers and hands are filled with Chromalight luminescent material for legibility in low-light conditions. The case layout is configured for left-handed wear, with the winding crown and crown guards positioned on the left side of the case. The date aperture and Cyclops lens are correspondingly placed at 9 o’clock, while the 24-hour hand provides continuous reference to a second time zone. Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3285, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, and offers an approximate 70-hour power reserve. Functions include central hours, minutes, and seconds, a 24-hour display, an independently adjustable local-time hour hand, instantaneous date, and stop-seconds for precise setting. After casing, the movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet in 18 ct white gold, secured by an Oysterlock folding safety clasp with an Easylink comfort extension allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment.
