GMT-Master II White Gold / BLRO / Meteorite

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126719BLRO-0002 was introduced in 2019 and is the only reference in the GMT-Master II collection to feature a meteorite dial. The watch is housed in a 40 mm Oyster case crafted from 18 ct white gold, constructed using Rolex’s monobloc architecture with a screw-down case back and Triplock winding crown. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is produced from natural meteorite, a material originating from the core of an asteroid or planetary body. Its distinctive metallic pattern is the result of extremely slow cooling during its formation in space, creating crystalline structures that make each dial visually unique. Applied hour markers and hands are filled with Chromalight luminescent material to ensure legibility in low-light conditions. A bidirectional rotatable 24-hour bezel fitted with a two-colour Cerachrom insert in red and blue ceramic frames the dial. In addition to conventional time indication, the GMT-Master II incorporates an arrow-tipped 24-hour hand that displays a second time zone against the bezel scale. The local hour hand can be adjusted independently in one-hour increments via the winding crown, without stopping the movement or affecting timekeeping accuracy. Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3285, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement features a blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. It offers an approximate 70-hour power reserve and includes instantaneous date display, independent rapid-setting of the local hour hand, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. Following casing, the movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in 18 ct white gold, composed of three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterlock folding safety clasp with an Easylink comfort extension, allowing approximately 5 mm of additional adjustment.
