GMT-Master II Yellow Gold / GRNR / Jubilee

The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126718GRNR-0001 was introduced in 2023 as a yellow gold execution of the 40 mm GMT-Master II platform. The case is crafted from 18 ct yellow gold and follows the monobloc Oyster architecture, with a screw-down case back and Triplock screw-down winding crown. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. A bidirectional rotatable 24-hour bezel is fitted with a two-colour Cerachrom insert in grey and black ceramic, featuring moulded numerals and graduations. The bezel works in conjunction with the 24-hour hand to display a second time zone. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial. The black dial is fitted with applied hour markers and broad hands in simple geometric shapes. All display elements are filled with Chromalight luminescent material for legibility in low-light conditions. In addition to the centre hour, minute and seconds hands, the dial features an arrow-tipped 24-hour hand for reference time indication, as well as an instantaneous date display. Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3285, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. The movement provides an approximate power reserve of 70 hours and allows independent rapid-setting of the local hour hand without stopping the movement. Stop-seconds enables precise time setting. After casing, the movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold, composed of five-piece links. It is secured by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and includes the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing a 5 mm adjustment to the bracelet length.
