GMT-Master II Everose / CHNR / Tiger Iron / Oyster

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126715CHNR-0002 was introduced as part of the contemporary evolution of the collection and combines precious metal construction with a distinctive natural stone dial. The Oyster case measures 40 mm in diameter and is crafted from 18 ct Everose gold, Rolex’s proprietary pink gold alloy developed to retain its colour over time. The case follows the brand’s monobloc Oyster architecture, with a screw-down case back and Triplock screw-down winding crown, ensuring water resistance to 100 metres. This reference is distinguished by its tiger iron dial, a metamorphic rock used by Rolex for the first time on this model. Tiger iron is composed of tiger’s eye, red jasper, and silvery hematite, resulting in a complex natural pattern with warm golden and reddish tones. Each dial is visually unique due to the natural structure of the material. The applied hour markers and hands are filled with Chromalight luminescent material to ensure legibility in low-light conditions. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock beneath a Cyclops lens. The bidirectional rotatable bezel features a 24-hour scale and is fitted with a two-colour Cerachrom insert in brown and black ceramic. In combination with the arrow-tipped 24-hour hand, the bezel allows the wearer to read a second time zone, while the independently adjustable local hour hand enables time zone changes without stopping the movement or affecting the reference time display. Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3285, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. The movement offers an approximate power reserve of 70 hours and supports an instantaneous date display, independent hour-hand adjustment for the second time zone, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. After casing, it is certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in 18 ct Everose gold, composed of three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterlock folding safety clasp and includes the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing the bracelet length to be increased by approximately 5 mm.
