Pocket Watch Lepine Power Reserve White Gold / From Father to Son
Ref. 982/178G
The Patek Philippe 982/178G is a one-off pocket watch made in 2015 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the brand. It features a hand-engraved repoussé caseback depicting a father and son in nineteenth-century Geneva. The decoration required more than 200 hours of work using the repoussé technique. The relief image was shaped from three thin superimposed sheets of gold (0.25 mm), so that the white gold figures emerge from the chased yellow gold city scene.
