Nautilus 50th Anniversary 5810 White Gold / Blue - Baguette
Ref. 5810G-001
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5810G-001 5810G-001 debuted in 2026 as a 50th anniversary edition of the Nautilus, presented in white gold with a strap configuration rather than the integrated bracelet of its sister reference 5810/1G-001. Issued in a limited run of 1,000 pieces, it retains the ultra-thin, time-only format of the anniversary model while shifting its overall character through the use of a fabric-patterned composite strap and diamond-set hour markers. Its case is crafted in white gold and measures 41 mm across from 10 to 4 o’clock, with a thickness of 6.9 mm. Like the bracelet version, it uses the familiar two-part Nautilus case construction and combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces across the case and bezel. The screw-down crown and water resistance to 30 metres preserve the established sport-luxury framework of the collection, while the sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement. In this reference, the absence of the integrated metal bracelet changes the balance of the watch immediately, giving the case and bezel greater visual prominence. The dial is executed in sunburst blue and retains the horizontally embossed pattern associated with the Nautilus. Here, however, the applied white gold hour markers are set with baguette-cut diamonds, adding a gem-set detail that distinguishes the watch from the more restrained anniversary bracelet version. The rounded baton-style hour and minute hands in white gold are filled with white luminescent coating, maintaining the familiar display language of the Nautilus despite the more decorative treatment of the markers. The result is a dial that remains recognisably Nautilus in structure, but is notably more formal and jewelled in execution. Inside is the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 240, measuring 2.53 mm in height and powered by an off-centre 22K gold mini-rotor. The movement consists of 152 parts, uses 27 jewels, operates at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour, and provides a minimum power reserve of 48 hours. Its regulating organs include a Gyromax balance and Spiromax balance spring, and the movement bears the Patek Philippe Seal. As on the other 50th anniversary Nautilus introduced alongside it, the mini-rotor is engraved with the inscription “50 1976 – 2026,” marking the commemorative purpose of the reference. The watch is fitted with a navy blue composite strap with a fabric pattern and a white gold fold-over clasp. This strap gives the watch a more relaxed and contemporary profile than a matching white gold bracelet would have done, even as the baguette-set markers move the dial in a more precious direction. The result is a reference that combines several contrasting elements, namely ultra-thin white gold construction, a sport-derived strap, and diamond-set hour markers, to create a distinct anniversary take on the Nautilus rather than a straightforward reissue of the collection’s established template.
