Grandmaster Chime 6300 White Gold - Emerald / Black

Ref. 6300/403G-001

The Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300/403G-001 is a Haute Joaillerie execution of the manufacture’s most complicated wristwatch, combining twenty complications with diamond and emerald gem-setting in a reversible white-gold case. The reversible case is crafted in white gold and measures 49.4 mm in diameter with a thickness of 16.32 mm. It incorporates a patented rotation mechanism allowing either dial to be worn facing outward. The case is humidity- and dust-protected but not water-resistant. Gem-setting comprises 291 baguette-cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 20.54 carats and 118 baguette-cut emeralds totaling approximately 7.87 carats. The time-side bezel is set with 96 baguette-cut emeralds (approximately 6.99 carats), while the calendar-side bezel and case are set with baguette-cut diamonds. The fold-over clasp is set with 22 baguette-cut emeralds (approximately 0.88 carat). Invisible-setting techniques are applied to the caseband, the sides of the lugs, and the swivel links. Both dials are executed in ebony black opaline on solid 18K gold dial plates. The time dial features a hand-guilloché hobnail pattern and applied white-gold Breguet numerals. Time is indicated by a white-gold pear-shaped home-time hand and a white-gold skeletonised pear-shaped local-time hand with white varnish. The calendar dial displays the perpetual calendar indications. Across the two dials, the watch displays a second time zone with day/night indication, an instantaneous perpetual calendar with day, date, month, leap year, and four-digit year display, moon phases, a 24-hour and minutes subdial, and a crown-position indicator. Acoustic complications include a grande sonnerie, a petite sonnerie, a minute repeater striking on three classic gongs, an alarm striking the programmed time, and a date repeater sounding the date on demand. Additional indications include a strikework mode display, a strikework isolator indication, and separate power-reserve displays for the movement and the striking mechanism. Powering the watch is the manually wound calibre GS AL 36-750 QIS FUS IRM. The movement measures 37 mm in diameter and 10.7 mm in thickness, comprises 1,366 components and 108 jewels, and operates at a frequency of 25,200 semi-oscillations per hour (3.5 Hz). It is fitted with a Spiromax balance spring and bears the Patek Philippe Seal.
