Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar Haute Joaillerie 5374 Platinum / Paraíba Tourmalin
Ref. 5374/400P-001
The Patek Philippe Grand Complications 5374/400P-001 5374/400P-001 debuted in 2026 as an eight-piece limited edition combining a minute repeater, perpetual calendar, and haute joaillerie execution. This reference is distinguished by its platinum case, white Balinese mother-of-pearl dial, and extensive setting of baguette-cut diamonds and Paraíba tourmalines. Its case is crafted in platinum and measures 42 mm in diameter with a thickness of 12.28 mm. The case is humidity- and dust-protected only and is delivered with interchangeable solid and sapphire crystal case backs. A diamond is set at 6 o’clock, in keeping with Patek Philippe’s use of a discreet external hallmark for platinum cases. In this execution, the bezel, flange, caseband, lugs, slide piece, and clasp are all gem-set. The full setting comprises 171 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 9.85 carats and 84 baguette-cut Paraíba tourmalines weighing 2.7 carats. The dial is executed in white Balinese mother-of-pearl on an 18K gold dial plate. Baguette-cut diamond hour markers are combined with baguette-cut Paraíba tourmaline minute markers on the flange. White gold leaf-shaped hands with white luminescent coating indicate the time and calendar displays. The perpetual calendar is arranged with day, date, and month by hands, together with leap year and 24-hour indication, while the moon-phase display is positioned at 6 o’clock. Inside is the self-winding calibre R 27 Q, a minute repeater movement with two cathedral gongs and perpetual calendar. The movement measures 28 mm in diameter and 6.9 mm in thickness, consists of 478 parts, uses 39 jewels, and operates at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour. It is wound by an off-centre guilloched 22K gold mini-rotor and offers a power reserve ranging from 38 to 48 hours. The regulating organ comprises a Gyromax balance and Spiromax balance spring, and the movement bears the Patek Philippe Seal. The watch is fitted with a shiny slate grey calfskin strap embossed with an alligator pattern. It is secured by a patented platinum triple-blade fold-over clasp set with 36 baguette-cut Paraíba tourmalines.
