Perpetual Calendar 3448
Ref. 3448J Bracelet
The Patek Philippe 3448 was a milestone watch: it was the first automatic perpetual calendar wristwatch to ever appear on the market. It was first introduced in 1962. In the early eighties it was accompanied by the 3450, which included a leap year indicator. In 1985 the 3940 was introduced, more or less replacing both. The present example, as appeared in an Antiquorum auction, features an integrated bracelet exemplary of the late 70's style - it was manufactured in 1978.
