Cubitus Perpetual Calendar Skeleton Platinum / Blue

The Patek Philippe Cubitus 5840P-001 5840P-001 debuted in 2026 as the first Grand Complication in the Cubitus collection. It combines a perpetual calendar with a skeletonized square-shaped movement and a platinum case measuring 45 mm diagonally. The case is crafted in platinum and measures 45 mm across the diagonal with a thickness of 10 mm. It follows the Cubitus format with a square profile and rounded edges and combines polished and satin-brushed finishes across the case and bezel. A baguette-cut diamond is set at 6 o’clock. The watch is fitted with a screw-down crown, a sapphire crystal case back, and is water-resistant to 30 metres. The dial is executed in sunburst blue and openworked, with a horizontal line pattern formed by finely cut strips that reveal the square-shaped mainplate and bridges of the movement beneath. White gold applied baton-style hour markers and rounded baton-style hands are fitted with white luminescent coating. The perpetual calendar indications are arranged by hand, with subsidiary dials for the day, date, month, leap-year cycle, and 24-hour indication, together with a moon-phase aperture. The moon-phase display uses a metallized and laser-engraved “high-definition” moon. Inside is the self-winding Patek Philippe calibre 28-28 Q SQU, a square-shaped skeletonized perpetual calendar movement measuring 28.5 x 28.5 mm with a thickness of 5.04 mm. It consists of 313 parts, uses 27 jewels, and is wound by a rhodium-plated off-centre 22K gold mini-rotor. The movement operates at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour and offers a power reserve ranging from 38 to 48 hours. Through the case back, the openworked bridges, rhodium-plated balance, rhodium-plated 22K gold mini-rotor engraved with a horizontal line pattern and Calatrava cross filled with blue varnish, transparent jewels, and blued screws are visible. The watch is fitted with a navy blue composite strap with a fabric pattern and contrasting cream stitching, secured by a platinum Cubitus fold-over clasp.
