The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Regulator Ref. 5235/50R-001 debuted in 2019 and presents the brand’s patented annual calendar complication in a regulator-style layout. The rose gold case measures 40.5 mm in diameter and is paired with a vertically satin-brushed two-tone dial in graphite and ebony black, featuring a central minutes hand with separate subdials for the hours and small seconds. The annual calendar displays the day, date, and month via apertures and requires correction only once per year, at the end of February. Powering the watch is the self-winding Caliber 31-260 REG QA, which incorporates an off-center 22-carat gold minirotor and operates at a frequency of 23,040 semi-oscillations per hour. The movement provides a power reserve of approximately 38 to 48 hours. The caliber measures 33 mm in diameter and 5.08 mm in thickness and consists of 313 components and 31 jewels. Regulation is handled by a Gyromax balance paired with a Spiromax balance spring manufactured in Silinvar®. The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters and features a sapphire crystal case back. The movement is finished and certified according to the Patek Philippe Seal.
